who says new logo says new range and new prices

We told you yesterday the Dacias have finally changed all their logos. But the change does not stop there. Like Renault, Dacia has reviewed its finishes and has opted for names that sound in English. There are also evolutions in the range of engines: some temporary, others permanent. Finally, prices are revised…up (you wouldn’t have guessed, especially given the context!). This is what you need to remember!

GPL versions temporarily absent except for the Jogger, new more powerful engine for the Sandero Stepway

We first notice that no more Dacia models with an LPG engine can be ordered, with the notable exception of the jogger whose range would have been too small without him. It’s a shame only a few weeks after the brand has endured a conference on the importance of bifuel within the range. The shortage is the cause, one of the equipment manufacturers is out of stock. It is not yet known when the situation will return to normal. No trace of the Duster 4×4 either, but it is not a delivery problem, only a homologation problem, it will return to the catalog in July. Finally, the Sandero Pass (and not the “only” unlifted Sandero) is the second Dacia model to benefit from the new 1.0 three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with direct injection of 110 hp and 200 Nm of torque opened by the Corridor. Surely some will appreciate it, even if it comes at a price (but we’ll come back to it).

A new range of finishes and rising prices

Dacia has also ordered its range of finishes. the Spring it only has two called Essential (English style, no longer Essential) and Expression. As standard, the electric city car is always well equipped with manual air conditioning, front and rear electric windows or even automatic lighting of the headlights. This is fortunate given the price that continues to rise by €510. At launch, the Spring was €2,810 less! CO2 bonds included, its price drops to €14,454.

Same range of finishes for the Sandero and the Sandero Stepway, to which the latter adds, however, an Expression+ or UP&GO decoration. Richly equipped, it is based on the Expression version and also includes automatic air conditioning, hands-free card or electric parking brake. Above all, Dacia promises reasonable delivery times. An attractive proposal on paper, but beware, Shown at €18,350, it’s starting to do a lot for a Sandero, even if it’s the raised version and benefits from the new 110bhp petrol engine. Not long ago, the city car barely exceeded €15,000 in the worst case…

The Duster can also benefit from a UP&GO version with reduced delivery times. But having left the LPG on the road (temporarily, it is good to remember), we can only take advantage of it with the 115 hp diesel. Anachronistic? By chance, this engine alone still accounted for 44% of Romanian SUV registrations from January to May. Be careful not to trust the base price, which has risen €3,010, which is logical with the absence of the Duster LPG.

Finally, the Jogger is the only Dacia model that maintains at least two of its previous finishes, the Extreme and Extreme+ limited series still in the catalog. Otherwise, prices are also on the rise. Account 800 € more for the Jogger first GPL price. The basic petrol Jogger is “only” €500 more. A difference found in the higher liveries.
